[EN] Gallo shoe factory offers several processes to develop shoes suitable for every style and trend, remaining a timeless product. The manufacturing techniques are numerous: Blake, Ideal, Ago and Goodyear Flex, a manufacturing company flagship.

[IT] La lavorazione Goodyear flex rappresenta senz’altro un nostro fiore all’occhiello: un perfetto mix di tradizione ed innovazione. Infatti, partendo dalla classica e nobile lavorazione inglese, abbiamo innovato le nostre scarpe attraverso un particolare metodo di lavorazione che garantisce come risultato finale una scarpa molto flessibile e particolarmente comoda. Nasce così una calzatura resistente e solida come ogni scarpa Goodyear ma che, al contempo, riesce ad essere comoda e confortevole, superando la rigidità propria di certe lavorazioni così artigianali. Il tutto mantenendo l’eleganza nello stile ed il pregio dei materiali utilizzati.

[EN] Goodyear flex process certainly represents one of our flagship: a perfect mix of tradition and innovation. Indeed, starting by the classical and noble English manufacturing, we have improved our shoes through a particular manufacturing method that guarantees, as final result, very flexible and comfortable shoes. This way we created a resistant and strong kind of shoes, as every Goodyear, but at the same time it is also very comfortable, by overtaking the rigidity that is typical of such handcrafted manufacturing. The whole is done by maintaining the elegance in style and the quality in high-value materials.

[IT] La particolarità della lavorazione blake è la sua costruzione con la quale tomaia (la parte superiore della scarpa), fodera interna e suola esterna sono unite da un’unica cucitura. È la scelta più leggera e flessibile, ideale per la calzatura dallo stile classico.

[EN] The peculiarity of the Blake process is its construction where the upper (the the top part of a shoe), the inner and outer soles are joined by a unique seam. It’s the lightest and the most flexible choice, suitable for classical footwear.

[IT]  Nella lavorazione Ideal la tomaia viene preparata con i bordi esterni incollati e pressati su un’apposita intersuola, per poi essere cucita. Nella variante più semplice di questa tecnica si fanno girare i bordi della tomaia verso l’esterno, montandoli direttamente sulla suola.

[EN] In Ideal manufacturing the upper is arranged with the outer borders glued and pressed on a designed midsole, and then sewn. In the simplest variation of the Ideal technique the upper borders are turned outward, assembling them directly on the sole.

[IT] Con la produzione in AGO la tomaia è risvoltata internamente e unita al sottopiede tramite termocollante ed inchiodatura. Successivamente la suola viene incollata e pressata sul sottopiede opportunamente cardato. La scarpa viene costruita su di una forma che ne determina le caratteristiche di calzata. I modelli costruiti con la tecnica AGO sono robusti e possono avere flessione e torsione di gradi diversi, in base al sottopiede impiegato.

[EN] With the AGO technique the upper is turned up inside and joined to the insole through heat bonding and nailing. Then the sole is glued and pressed to the properly carded insole. The shoe is developed on a mold which defines the fit features. The piece produced with AGO manufacturing is solid and it can achieve several twisting degrees, based on the insole employed.
